But the truth is there are countless ways in which blogging can help you, whatever your reason for starting your blog in the first place. Here are just a few of them:-
A well-crafted, well-researched and persuasive blog gives you some clout – both with people who find it naturally on a search engine like Google and with people who are directed towards it – either by yourself or your followers.
Blogs give you an opportunity to showcase your knowledge.
Whether you are trying to lobby the government or your local residents’ association – or you are just passionate about a subject – a blog can help you shape the opinions of people that matter to you.

If you are trying to sell a product or service there’s a good chance you have a number of competitors. A good blog can help you stand out from your rivals and gain a loyal customer base as a result.
The trust you’ve built up over time means they are more likely to turn to you when they are ready to put their hands in their pockets.
